To God's Daughters

30 truths to challenge the
messages that shaped you

What if some of the messages you've been given about God, yourself, and what it means to be a woman aren't actually true?

To God's Daughters is a devotional journey for women who are ready to question harmful messages, reclaim their voice, and discover what is true.

About
to God's
Daughters

What if a generation of women rose up against the messages that diminished them—and learned to live according to truth?

For countless women, harmful messages come from every direction—culture, relationships, churches, and even those entrusted to represent God. These messages, through words, silence, exclusion, or abuse of power, can shape how women see themselves, their relationships, and their faith.

Drawing on more than twenty-five years of experience helping women navigate abuse and spiritual harm, trauma therapist and advocate Dr. Heather Evans invites women to slow down, question what they have internalized, and discover what is actually true.

Through thirty foundational truths, Scripture reflections, guided questions, and somatic meditations, this trauma-informed devotional offers a practical pathway for replacing shame, self-blame, fear, and performance with a deeper understanding of God-given dignity, agency, worth, and purpose.

Whether healing from abuse, questioning messages you received from the church, or simply longing to live more fully into who God created you to be, these pages invite you to reflect, heal, and reclaim your voice.
